As the rain pounds down on my window panes and fire escape, I want nothing more than to lay in bed all day and ponder the wonders of the world, but instead I am laying in bed and watching trashy Sunday TV. I have so much to do these next two days before I fly back home to Arizona to see my daddy get yet another award. My dad works harder than anybody that I know, and really deserves this week of recognition. I love that my sisters, mom, and myself can all be there for him, not to mention I get to dress up in pretty dresses, eat fabulous food, and drink champagne!!! Also, one of my favorite things to do is PACK and I am actually very surprised that I don't already have my suitcase packed and sitting by the door ready to go a few days in advance. Back when I lived in Texas my roommates would make fun of me because I was so overly prepared for trips, and when it was time to leave I was so antsy because I had nothing to do. Everything would already be cleaned, lights off and I would just be sitting there ready to go!!!Needless to say I have become more of a procrastinator when it comes to packing, maybe its because I DO NOT want to get out of bed today!!!
