Hunter, doesn't mean you have to use a gun

As I was writing/complaining about how it isn't fallish here yet in AZ , it started to rain, and by rain I mean down pour. I love the rain, everything about it I adore, but what I love most about the rain, is getting to wear my rain boots!! What girl doesn't love the fact that she can throw on leggings with a big sweater and rain boots and call it a day and still look gorg. So even though I live in the desert, and it rains approximately two times a year, I am still craving these hunter rain boots in turquoise(which is my new obsession).

Fall has arrived...for some

For most of the country, leaves are changing, the temperature is drifting down to nice cool weather, fall wardrobes are being brought out, and light jackets are being worn. But here in good old Arizona its still 104 degrees! There are no leaves to turn color, and all in all it is still summer! Meaning that I have yet to wear my fall wardrobe(which I love), lay outside and read a book on a nice cool day, drink hot chocolate, and watch the pups run around, but by golly I am going to pretend it is fall because that is what it should be!! I have composited a list of wonderful fall things that I am going to accomplish and I am going to wear a nice cardi while pretending it is 70 degrees outside!

ITS BEEN AWHILE

Hi Everyone,

I know it has been FOREVER since I have blogged, but I feel like I have been inspirationally challenged lately (so sad)/super busy. I hope everyone has been doing just wonderfully and life is beautiful.

Today is Labor Day and I am feeling very crafty...finally!!! So I am going to paint a few paintings and bake a scrumptious new recipe that I found on Laurenconrad.com. I will let you know how it goes considering I am not very handy in the kitchen!

Kitchens are the heart and soul of a house, and the kitchen table is the beat to that heart. There is nothing I love more than sharing a glass of wine with my mom or friends around the kitchen table. This is where are our family discussion are held, our days are told, and good food and drinks are shared. Not only are they where we all break bread but kitchens are notorious for being one of the most difficult rooms in a house to design.So lets take it step by step and look at some beautiful vignettes of kitchen tables.

{Im Just a Summer Girl}

I dont know about y'all but I am most definitely partial to summer and so ready for it to start!Though the desert of Arizona is not quite as cold as some of the other great states, I am ready for bikinis, flip flops, and a tasty margarita while laying by the pool. I love when resort wear starts to hit the stores and more importantly can justify my online shopping habit. So here are some of my favorites so far, from my favorite... Tory!!! Starting the week off right

This weekend has been such a fantastical last few days ( hehe), and part of me is super sad to see it end but, luckily for me there are such fabulous things happening this upcoming week.

One of which is, is that my best best friends from Texas are coming down to visit and I cannot wait to see them!!! So in honor of all of us having a wonderful, spectacular, creatively moving week, I wanted to bring you lovely images that make me smile!! Have a blessed week :)

I"M BACK, for the Globes!!

I am literally sitting here and watching the Golden Globes as I write this and I must say that everyone seems to be knocking it out of the park this year fashion wise! There is an ever present trend in color this year with lots of deep greens, pinks, and black not to mention the ruffles and metallics on these sleek frocks.

Of course I watched the E!news pre-show to the Globes which gives the viewers such a great glimpse into what these stars are wearing and I must say some of my favorites were/are Olivia Wilde,Catherine Zeta Jones, Anne Hathaway, January Jones, and Emma Stone!
